Singapaw-rean food!

Our parents are proud Singaporeans and this little red dot is where we call home now.
But, do you know that we are from all over the world?
I'm from NYC (Yap, call me Uncle Sam), Pecan's from down under (She's Aussie) and Sherman and Shelly are Russians.
#unitednationsofdogs
The only true-blue Singapaw-rean in our crew is running free up there over some rainbow.
#hipippin

To help us fit in (cos not many doggos can understand our accents), our parents will make use of all opportunities to get us accustomed to the local culture.
And this is why our Mummy went cray-cray when she saw the local food inspired dog toys!
#abittoocraycray #sheboughtallthevarieties #siaoone #excusetospendmummy

We're proud to introduce you to our very local Singapaw-rean food!
What a spread~~
Pardon our backdrop, Mummy's trying hard to make it feel like we are having a picnic.

Hi Shelly

Gosh, this post actually took Mummy almost ONE year to write.
Seriously. Can be more biased anot.
#fourthchildsyndrome #poorshelly #abitsadbuttoobad
So, yap, as most of you should already know by now, the Loo Lim family gained another sibling last September. (Like in 2017, it's ALREADY SEP 2018)
Say hi to Shelly Blackwood!

Loots from Korea!

Mummy abandoned us for a week and scooted off to Korea for a work-and-play trip last Nov.
#yaplateLATEpostasusual
But luckily for us, we were on her mind the entire trip and as a result, all, if not most, of her buys that entire trip were for US!
#sheisdogslave
Check out what she brought back for us!
BUT, all is not forgiven.
#canyouimagineoneweekwithonlydaddy
We decided to review her purchases and see if she was a good shopper, or simply, just a sucker.
#wethinksheisasucker
Let's see how it goes!

So, yap, it's Made with Love time!
Woohoo~

Toilet Training Pippin

It's hard to believe that it has been more than two months since Pippin monster joined our family.
And no, me and Pecan still ain't super fond of her.
#ahmanolikehercosshestealsallpecan'stoys #menolikecosIwanttobetheonlychild
But, I guess we're starting to come to terms with having an 'energizer' bunny (like literally) in our house.

Made with love (once again) - Dehydrated treats!

We got busy with Mummy's newest toy...
a dehydrator!
To be exact, it's a Rommelsacher Automatic Dehydrator.

Sam's Pick - Ewegurt

Mummy loves me to the moon and back and would never push me away no matter what I do.
Well, almost.
There is just one tiny little thing that will send her running away (and also pretty much empty the room in seconds) - my fart bombs.
#yapIamsamthefartingmachine #myfartsarepotent #sorrynotsorry
So when Uncle ZK from Platinum Pets dropped us a message to find out if we were keen to give Ewegurt a shot, Mummy jumped at it without any hesitation.

Welcome to our new un-done place!

What's up?

Well, nothing much actually.
Mummy was up to her neck in her work for the past month and would much rather catch up with her sleep than blog for us.
#wehaveaterriblemummy
So, for the Nth time, we apologise for the lack of posts no thanks to we-know-who.
#pointsourpawsatmummy
Thank you for not giving up on us!

On a good note, things are finally moving for us!
After a couple of months of deliberation and multiple (really disappointing) meetings with IDs, Mummy decided to take things in her own hands and decorate/design our new apartment herself.
#dieliaola #surenodesignsenseone #lookhowmuchfaithwehaveinourmummy
Regardless of how the place turns out to be (fingers/paws crossed), Pecan and I are really looking forward to just having our own space once again.
Reno works start tomorrow!
So, wish us luck!
Let the countdown begin....

Happy Lunar New Year!

Our Lunar New Year was pretty blah~
For starters, we're still staying with Grandmummy as our new place is not yet already.
Thus, we really couldn't have any friends over.
#waituntilourneckslonglongliao
Secondly, we weren't included in any of our parents' house visiting plans.
#boohoohoo

Oh well~
Nonetheless, we were still dressed to the nines for the occasion.
We ended up parading around the house for no one to see.
#sosadhor
Thank you Godmummy for the lovely outfits from Bangkok!

Our pick for Stalker Mummy - the Petzi

We already warned you that Mummy is on a shopping spree this month.
For Christmas she said. (Remember?)
So after pampering herself with the Torus bowl, she coerced Daddy into getting her a Petzi Treat Cam.
To check on us while she is at work she said.

The toy bucket challenge!

So, we were challenged by The Vanilla Pup, Latte and her owner on Instagram to do the #ToyBucketChallenge.
We had to either pour a bucket of stuffies over our heads OR donate $10 to an Animal Welfare Group of our choice.

Since it was for a good cause, we immediately said YES! to it.
#challengeaccepted #bringiton
Besides, nothing beats being showered with toys. Like literally.

Mummy was all geared up and started walking around the house with a bucket to pick up the dead toys that were scattered around the room.
To ensure that she did not sabo (cheat) us by putting a rock or two in it, she allowed us to inspect the toys prior to the challenge.
#allclear
The reason why Pecan ah ma looked blur in the image was that she actually attempted to steal a toy or two away!
#itistoybucketchallengenotstealatoychallenge
Tsk Tsk tsk... old people huh..
Once we gave her the green light, we got into position....
(Okay, we did switch position after a while... I didn't want to stand near Daddy who was doing the tossing.. heheheh...)

Let's go!
#whatthetootwasthat #itisrainingtoys
It happened so quickly that we were a little surprised. Thankfully, I was quick enough to hop out of danger's way before any toys hit me.
#Samthefatninja
While we were a little shocked by what just happened... we did have a ball doing it!

More importantly, besides the joy of laughing at us (our mummy is mean that way),  Mummy decided to do her part for charity and went ahead to donate $20 to Animal Welfare Groups in Singapore! She did it during a dog event over the weekend! ($10 went to Causes for Animals Singapore on my behalf and another $10 went to Animal Lovers League for Pecan!)

So, if you are a cute furry animal like myself, am up for a challenge and have $10 to spare for an animal welfare organization, join us on our Toy Bucket Challenge too!

Ikea for dogs!

Mummy loves heading to Ikea for some therapeutic window shopping. Daddy's pretty okay with that. Except that Mummy's definition of "window shopping" is a tad different from others.
Yap, she NEVER leaves empty handed.
#mummyisashopaholic

But of course, being an obsessive dog parent, more often than not, she would end up buying something for us!
That's the reason why you would find her in the kid's section everything she visits Ikea. Hehehe, in fact, she added some awesome kids toys to my stash during her last visit!

Since Pecan ah ma has been leaving her toys around the house and our original toy box is overflowing, Mummy decided to check out some storage solutions for us.
And that's when these fun baskets caught her attention.
(Source: Ikea)

And guess what, I think the vibrant colors suit us too!
Plus, they finally allow us to stow away ah ma's many toys.
Basket ONE is for her annoying squeaky toys;
Basket TWO is for balls (most of these are mine. hehehe);
Basket THREE is for Pecan's stinky stuffies (mine are all torn apart, so the intact ones are her)
To earn my own keep, I mean treats, I decided to be a good good boy and help Mummy pack up the house a little.
I picked up ah ma's squeaky bone...
and placed it into the right basket.
#whyIsoclever #wheregotdogssosmartone
Just when Mummy was praising me for being such a clever dog, sly Pecan ah ma has to sneak in, steal the toy and ran away.
"AH MA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Of course, Mummy was extremely entertained (she was bursting out in laughter lor. -_-) and actually rewarded Pecan for being a thief!
#howcanlikethat
Anyway, after some thought, Mummy decided to put the baskets beside Pecan's feeding bowl.
Hopefully, that would make ah ma wanna clean up the house a little more.
Of course, that didn't work. Not at all.
Ah ma only knows how to remove toys from the baskets. Putting them back doesn't seem to exist in her dictionary.
Oh well, being the obedient boy, I decided to help her do it instead.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Mummy recognizes my effort!
And Yap, I got tons of treats for my hard work!!!!

Another great buy at Ikea!!!
Don't you just love shopping at Ikea?

Daddy's new toy

Mummy had to work late and tasked Daddy to watch over us for the evening.
However, stupid Daddy actually ditched us at Grandmummy's and by the time Mummy came home, she was rather pissed to find us missing.
Yap, there was no welcome dance from me and Pecan.
Booooooo~
To make things worse for Daddy, Mummy actually bought him a big pressie.
So when he saw the present, he let out an apologetic and sheepish smile.
Stupid Daddy.

Just to make sure that we didn't miss out on the surprise, Daddy actually waited for us to return home to unveil the present.
We were elated to see such a huge box!
"Is it a box full of treats?!?"
Daddy: "It's not edible! And it's mine!"
Huh?
For once, the exciting item that came through our door wasn't for us.
Oh well...
And we weren't sure if we were allowed to use the contents of the box.
And when Daddy said yes, we couldn't wait to find out what the amazing item was.
I mean, it's not everyday we see Daddy grinning from ear to ear.
(He usually puts on a resigned face)
We waited patiently while Daddy set it up.
Unfortunately there was only one controller in the set. And being the boy of the household, of course I had the 'right' to hang on to it.
Besides, Pecan ah ma was contented just sitting next to see to catch the action.
Pity the setup took a tad long.
(Stupid Daddy forgot his password)
We quickly got bored as Daddy took forever to reset his password and eventually trotted off.
We found Mummy in the kitchen and conspired to put on our best begging faces.
Of course, we got a chew treat each. Satisfied with our 'steal', we happily retreated to our little corner to munch on it.
So I guess there are three happy souls at home today!

In fact, we are definitely the biggest winners tonight and we're certainly looking forward to Daddy's late gaming night..
cos that means, we have his side of the bed to ourselves!
WAHAHAHAHAHAH

My little Basket!

Mummy brought home a cute little basket from Egg3 a couple of days ago.
I was quite fascinated by it and could not stop checking it out.

Mummy: I'll bring you gai gai (shopping) if you can fit in the basket!
Challenge accepted.
After some wriggling, all 6.9kg of me sat comfortably in the little wicker basket!
I'm ready, Mummy.
Let's go!
I kinda realised I got cheated once again when all Mummy did after I got in, was to stand there and laugh at me.
*face paw-pad* (The dog version of face-palm)
Giving Mummy the "I hate you" face.
Stupid woman...
I was stuck refused to get out and Mummy had to tilt the basket to get me out of it.
Once she did that, she revealed the real purpose of the basket - to store the stray slippers by the door!
To take revenge, I decided to photobomb!
Hey, at least I gave a happy face k.
Well, since the basket wasn't exactly the most comfortable of traveling modes, I didn't mind that it ended up being a shoe basket. Cos that means that I'll have more space to laze around by the main gate.
Not bad for a new piece around the house. Even Zuny came by and joined in the fun!

Shhhh.. Hear Doggy!

(Yet) Another awesome perk of Mummy's internship (besides my free exposure on pets magazine) is that she is able to get her hands on new innovative toys!

So, on one lovely evening, Mummy came home with a grin. She came up to me and told me that she bought me a new toy! Of course, from the corner of my eye, I could see Daddy giving the "not again" face.
Too bad for you, Daddy and goooooood for me!
I was pretty excited to see what Mummy got for me.
Presenting the surprise - a Hear Doggy! squeaky stuffy!
I was uber excited about the starfish stuffy and could not wait to sink my teeth in it!
I was 100% focused on my new mission in life - attack the starfish while it cries squeaks for mercy, kill the squeaker and remove all its stuffing!!
RAWR...
Before I could even begin, I felt that there was something different about this squeaky toy.
In the past, each time Mummy squeezes the toy to squeak it, Daddy would throw an annoyed and disapproving look, clearly irritated with the high pitch noise.
But this time round, no matter how many times Mummy squeezed the toy (I swear she did it at least a hundred times, okay, I exaggerate, maybe 20 times), Daddy, who was working at the dining table, barely flinch, not to mention turn back with an irritated look.
This was when I discovered what's so unique about this toy - it's squeaker can only be heard by dogs, not humans.
*In awe*
And that means that I can kill this toy day and night and no one, yes, NO ONE is gonna stop me.
Life is gooooood...
*Evil grinz*
So here goes...
Once I started, I never looked back.
I'm sorry Mr Starfish, no humans are gonna come to your rescue.
Die! Starfish! Die!
This is seriously the best thing ever.
No one interrupted my mission and I spent a good twenty minutes playing fetch and trying to kill Mr. Starfish.
On the downside, Mr Starfish was quite well made and my mission to tear him apart kinda failed (for now). I was quite exhausted by the end.

Nonetheless, I was pretty pleased.
Thanks for the great toy, Mummy!!

Mummy's note: Okay, just a disclaimer, Sam's Daddy isn't that awful a person as he is made up to be on the blog. He's just... a little grumpy. *Grinz*
*Remembering that he does pay the bills* I mean he's awesome, the best husband and dog Daddy EVER!
