Singapaw-rean food!

Our parents are proud Singaporeans and this little red dot is where we call home now.

But, do you know that we are from all over the world?

I'm from NYC (Yap, call me Uncle Sam), Pecan's from down under (She's Aussie) and Sherman and Shelly are Russians.

Throwback to ... Pippin's birthday!

On 25th July 2017, we celebrated Pippin's 4th birthday!

We brought Pips home in January and of course, while we will always remember her gotcha day, we also wanted to give her a 'birthdate'.

My birthday falls in January and Pecan's one is in September. To spread out the celebrations, we decided that Pippin's birthday will be on 25th July!

Our old lady - Pecan Woods

2017 marks the fourth year that Pecan has joined the Loo Lim Household.

While Mummy took her home with the expectation that Pecan will act like a senior citizen - aka docile, mild.

Of course that did not happen.

Turns out that this ah ma was even more energetic than I was! (And I was only 3 then leh)

Pecan did have her own share of problems when she first joined our family.

That said, the amazing granny has come a long way and is actually the most popular of us three.

Our Yacht charter!

It was a long weekend and with long weekends come exciting plans!

This time, we were heading out to a fun day at sea!

Yap, Auntie J chartered a yacht for the whole extended family (thirteen two-legged ones and three four-legged ones)!

We gathered at Sentosa Cove and waited excitedly for our adventure to begin!

Ageing ah ma

As much as we would like to maintain that Pecan is forever young, we have to acknowledge that ah ma is indeed, ageing.

Maybe not her craziness spirit, but her body.

We started noticing that Pecan was shaking and trembling randomly at times over the last couple of days and that got Mummy worried.

So off to the vet she went.

And we came back with a diagnosis that Pecan ah ma is...

Arthritic.

While this (relatively) genki ah ma is probably not quite close to going six-feet-under (fingers crossed!), her body is struggling to keep up.
